me: hi. i would like to pay my account in full. do i get a discount if i do?
her: sorry ma'am but we only give discounts to those who have payment arrangements with us.
me: you mean i have to be delinquent to be able to get a discount?
her: yes ma'am, if you see it that way.
so let me get this straight. there is no premium at all if i'm a good customer, but i will get a discount if i don't pay for a couple of months and make a settlement with them.
is it just me or is there something terribly wrong with their customer service?
Heh! They make money from the "delinquents" and their interest charges and not from the "good customers." So you do have to be delinquent for them to like you. Is upside-down world.
